Honor a Veteran with an engraved brick paver. Bricks will be placed at the beautiful Veteran’s Memorial in Washington Park. All funds will be used to offset any additional expenses for the memorial.

Only bricks purchased before April 30, 2006 will be installed during the 2006 summer.

Additional bricks will be available on a continual basis.

Cost: $50.00 Fee includes 3 lines of print, 12 characters per line.

Memorial History

After three years of hard work and endless paperwork, Washington Park is now home to a breathtaking memorial to our veterans. Designed as his final Eagle Scout project, Eric Ingram’s vision to establish a tribute to all veterans came to life on Sunday, November 7, 2004 in a Veteran’s Day celebration. 

The Washington Park District would like to thank Eric, his grandparents Bill & Jo Ann Brunk and the many community supporters who helped make Eric’s vision a reality.
