Cay’s Academy of Tumbling has joined with the park district

Starting June 16th

The Washington Park District is pleased to announce that Cay’s Academy of Tumbling has joined with the park district to offer tumbling programs ranging from beginning through advanced. Cay’s 20 years of teaching experience together with the Park District facilities and administration will provide exceptional service to all the area tumblers. Dance classes will again be available starting in the fall. 

We will kick off summer tumbling on June 16th and continue through August 15th.  No classes will be held the week of July 4th.

Cost: $30 for 5 pass punch card / $10 walk-in   (You can purchase multiple punch cards if you plan on attending more than 5 classes.)
Monday: 7:00-8:00pm - Open to intermediate/advanced tumblers. Must be able to do a back handspring (flip flop).
Wednesday: 10:00-11:00am – Beginning ages 6 and older. Working on backbends, back walkovers, front limbers.
Wednesday: 11:00-12:00pm - Intermediate /Advanced. Must be able to do back walkovers and front limbers, working on back handsprings (flip-flops).
Thursday 5:00-6:00pm – Intermediate /Advanced – Must be able to do back walkovers and front limbers, working on flip flops, round-off flip flops or harder.
Beginning Tumbling Class
Designed for beginning tumblers this class will introduce many of the beginning tumbling skills and will progress throughout the 6 weeks.  Comfortable snug fitting clothes required.

Tumbling Camp
Camp is Monday-Thursday for two hours. This camp will benefit students who want to perfect and broaden their tumbling skills.
