July 2022 Summer Day Camp Tentative Schedule revised 7-6-22

August 2022 Summer Day Camp Tentative Schedule

Camp Adventurers is one of our most popular programs.  A lot of exciting things will be happening this summer. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports, crafts and other activities that follow the theme of the week and exciting field trips are always planned.  Campers will also enjoy trips to the Washington Park Pool.  Each day campers will need to bring: a sack lunch, backpack, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and a water bottle.  Our typical camp hours are 9:00AM to 4:30PM.  Before and after care is available.

We have 2 week sessions, 1 week camp sessions, and also a 3 day per week option.  All campers must be entering grades K-6th in fall.  A refund or pro-rated fee will not be offered if a camper misses any days of camp or if the session has already begun.

While we typically have taken kids to other WPD programs summer 2022 we will be going to the Washington Park Pool during the morning hours which might conflict with program transportation. We will do our best to accommodate program transportation to other WPD programs that take place prior to 11:00 a.m. start time but might have to review the process at any point. Camp field trips/special activities do take priority. If a schedule conflict arises, please let us know. It is the parent’s decision as to what program their child will attend or make other arrangements for transportation for their child. Communication with us is greatly appreciated. You will need to fill out an Activity Transportation Request Form telling us what time the lesson/program is and the location. Look for our camp logo by the activity. If a camp logo is next to the activity we will provide transportation.

For those needing additional time in the morning and/or evenings, pre and post camp times are available. Payment for pre & post camp will be in ten, twenty and fifty hour coupons and may be purchased at the time of registration. Time will be broken into half hour increments. Camp staff will keep your card, deduct the time used, and let you know when to renew your coupon. Pre and post camp coupons may be used throughout the summer and can be rolled over between sessions, but MUST be purchased before the time is used.  Refunds will not be given for unused time.

To sign up, stop by the Park District Office to fill out the appropriate paperwork and camp packet.
