HISRA provides inclusion services to people of all ages with a disability to participate in Washington Park District programs and camps. Are you a person with a disability or have a child with a disability? Upon reviewing your or your child's needs, HISRA's professional staff will work to integrate participants, adapt activities, and even provide additional support if necessary so that you or your child can succeed in an inclusive setting. Minimum requirements apply. HISRA provides all inclusion services at no cost to residents of the Washington Park District.
As a cooperative network of 4 area park districts, HISRA has proudly provided quality recreation programs and inclusion services for more than 20 years. All programs and activities are supervised by trained staff who have received a thorough orientation including specifics on disabilities, leadership, safety, program adaptation, first aid and much, much more.
