SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM GUIDELINES
At the Washington Park District, we believe that all residents should have the chance to take part in the recreational programs we offer. We are committed to making leisure opportunities accessible to residents experiencing financial hardship.
To apply for a scholarship, applicants must provide proof of financial need along with their application. Acceptable proof includes participation in public aid, food stamps, school lunch programs, subsidized housing, excessive medical bills, or other significant financial burdens.
Please fill out the designated scholarship form and submit it along with your documentation of need to the Park District Administration Office. Each application is reviewed on an individual basis. We will inform you of our decision within three weeks of receiving your application.
