Tee Ball - Tee Ball is open to preschool age (4-6) boys and girls. Players must turn 4 before May and have not entered kindergarten. The league is a co-ed instructional league stressing sportsmanship and the development of baseball/softball fundamentals. Two leagues will be formed based on age. (The 5 yr old league will consist of boys and girls who have not entered kindergarten and could be 6 years of age.

Youth Softball - The in-house softball league includes Pee Wee (Kindergarten) Pixie (1st – 3rd grade); Junior (4th and 5th grade) and Intermediate (6th, 7th and 8th grade). Each team will play approximately 12 games; 2 games per week. Games and/or practices are scheduled Monday through Sunday (after 1:00PM). Practices start in the month of May and games run June - July.

Youth Baseball - The in-house baseball league is a summer league that includes Pinto (kindergarten), Farm (1st & 2nd grade), Mustang (3rd and 4th grade), Bronco (5th & 6th grade) and Tap (7th & 8th grade). Each team will play approximately 12 games, 2 games per week. Games and/or practices are scheduled Monday thru Sunday (after 1:00 PM). Practices start in the month of May and games run June - July. 

Travel Youth Baseball teams exist for 7U-14U baseball and 8U-14U for softball. Contact the Washington Park District for more information.

Spring and Fall Youth Soccer
We offer U4-5, U6, U7-8, U9-10 and U10-12 coed divisions.  Look for the Spring Soccer information in our Winter Brochure and the Fall Soccer information in our Summer Brochure.

Little Hoopers - Little Hooper’s Basketball League is open to kindergarten and first grade boys and girls.The instructional league will encourage the fundamentals of dribbling, passing and learning the general rules of the game. Practice times and dates will be dependent on gym availability and will begin once the teams are finalized; typically practices will be scheduled in December. Please register early so teams can be determined as soon as possible. Volunteer coaches are also needed. Games will be on Saturdays running January - February. 

Youth Basketball - The Washington youth basketball leagues are for boys and girls in grades 2-8. In-House leagues include: Junior Boys and Junior Girls (2nd & 3rd Grades), Junior Varsity Boys and Junior Varsity Girls (4th & 5th Grades), and Junior High Boys (6th-8th Grades). Junior High boys’ season will begin with practice in November and games in December through early March (any 6th-8th girls interested in playing In-House will play with Junior High Boys). Junior and Junior Varsity practices will begin in December and games lasting through mid-March. All date ranges are tentative and will depend directly on finding coaches and gym availability beginning in January.

Youth Lacrosse - Boys 8u, 10U, 12U & 14U, Youth Girls 4th grade and under, 5th-8th grade. Be a part of the fastest growing sport in the Midwest! Washington Park District invites all boys & girls to sign up and play this fast-paced, exciting sport. Washington Lacrosse participates in a conference which includes games played against Dunlap, Springfield, Champaign, Pekin, Bloomington and other lacrosse clubs throughout Illinois. You will quickly learn why this is the fastest growing sport around!

All boys and girls, at all levels, are required to provide their own lacrosse stick. Boys lacrosse requires a helmet, chest protector, gloves and elbow pads. Girl players will also need to provide their own lacrosse goggles. BOYS EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND GIRLS GOGGLES ARE AVAILABLE ON A LIMITED BASIS AND IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE AT REGISTRATION. Kid Run - This fun run program meets one time per week at the Wenger Shelter and there will be separate distances for 1-18 year old children.

Volleyball Basics
Basic volleyball skills will be taught to 9-11 year old boys and girls.

Volley Tots
Introductory program for 6-8 year old boys and girls.

Pass, Dribble, Shoot
Coach Bob Facker leads this very popular instructional program for boys and girls age 7-9.

Half Pint Soccer and Basketball
This program is for 3-4 year old boys and girls where we will spend 3 weeks working on soccer and 3 on basketball.

Little Kickers
Developmental soccer program for 5-6 year old boys and girls.

Soccer Academy
This program will consist of drills and fun activities to promote skill development for 7-9 year old boys and girls.

Sports Mania
A program to introduce your 7-9 year old to multiple sports such as soccer, badminton, t-ball, and kickball.

Parent-Tot Sports Mania
Adults will participate with their 2-4 year old as they are introduced to multiple sports.

Tennis Skills Boot Camp
6 to 12 year old participants will be grouped together by age and ability in this instructional camp.

Tae Kwon Do
Class meets 3 times a week at the Washington Park District Building.  Ongoing sessions are billed on a monthly basis and you can join anytime.

Junior Golf Lessons
Held at Hillcrest in the summertime, these lessons meet one time per week for 4 weeks.  These instructional lessons are for 7 to 17 year olds.

Junior Golf League
This 10 week league will meet one time per week and is open to youth 7 to High School age.

Happy Feet Soccer
Throughout the year, we team up with Happy Feet Soccer to offer this introductory soccer program.  Divisions are held for 2-3 year olds, 3-4 year olds, and 5-6 year olds.  Some of the sessions are indoors and some are held outdoors.
