Job Description
The Washington Park District is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Athletics Coordinator to assist with the planning, coordination, and supervision of youth athletic programs, leagues, tournaments, and special events. This position provides onsite leadership, outstanding customer service, and helps ensure a safe, organized, and positive experience for participants, coaches, and spectators. This is a part-time position (up to 15 hours per week) with evening and weekend hours as needed. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
All Washington Park District Employees should:
- Be reliable and on time for each scheduled shift
- Be great communicators and knowledgeable about the park district
- Be able to follow directions and be thorough
- Have a great attitude and enjoy coming to work each day
- Be 16 years old** or more (15-year olds can only be employed if they obtain a work permit)
- Preference will be given to park maintenance applicants that are 18 year or older
**Certain 15-year-old candidates will be hired based on the individual candidate and Washington Park District staffing needs.
