Deck the park with a tree so bright, sponsor one now and spread the light! Whether for your business or a loved one dear, join us for a festive atmosphere near the Grange and Rotary shelters at Washington Park!
Here's how it works:
To sponsor a tree, please visit this link or send in the linked form (coming soon) to purchase a tree for $100. Please complete the process no later than Monday, November 18th to ensure we have a sign representing your tree. Submit early as there's a limited number of trees available.
Upon signing up, a real tree will be reserved for you. We'll handle putting up the tree near one of the shelters by the designated time and provide the sign to display, representing you. You'll be responsible for bringing lights and decorations to adorn your tree.
We'll set up trees the first Wednesday after Thanksgiving, allowing you to start decorating them. Please have your trees decorated by the following Wednesday.
IMPORTANT TREE DECORATING INFORMATION:
- Limit decorations to no more than two sets of LED lights per tree.
- Ensure the male end of the lights is at the bottom of the tree for easy plugging.
- Each tree will have a sponsorship sign; please refrain from placing additional signs in the ground around the tree.
- Avoid using motorized ornaments, tinsel, icicles, breakable ornaments, candy canes, or perishable items.
- Helpful hints: Secure ornament caps with super glue. Use floral wire or pipe cleaners to attach decorations to branches. Ensure all decorations are secure.
- Please check on your tree regularly, especially after windy weather.
- Remove all ornaments and decorations by January 8th, even if you don't wish to keep them.
